WhatsApp Communities is our way of bringing together all the different WhatsApp groups we have at the Hub Church, making it easier for everyone to stay connected and be part of our community.

It makes it much simpler for people to discover and join the groups that are right for them. Plus, we can share important updates with everyone through the announcements channel. Communities also help us stay on top of data protection requirements.

Your contact information is only shared with people in the same groups as you - just like any WhatsApp groups you're already part of. If you only join the announcements channel, your details won't be visible to others.

Your details can be seen by the overall community admin (the Hub Church).

You can leave individual groups whenever you want, just like any WhatsApp groups you're already in. You can also leave the whole community if you'd like to. Just keep in mind that you can't leave the announcements group on its own - if you want to leave that, you'll need to leave all the groups you're part of in the community.

Our main teams will have their own groups within the community. Later, we will be setting up groups for our mini hubs in the community.

Everyone needs to read and sign our WhatsApp Community Agreement. Once you've done that, you'll get an invite to join the Community
