The Hub Church is a vibrant community of Christians who meet in Hitchin. Our mission is to minister to people who are currently unchurched and does so by meeting on Sunday mornings and evenings, plus socially throughout the week for events including, prayer and bible study, and socials. The membership covers all ages with active children’s and youth activities, many families and also older age groups.

The Hub Church is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All post holders and volunteers are expected to share this commitment and all appointments are made in line with our safer recruitment policy.

Current Vacancies

Children, Youth and Families Lead (Part-time)

This is a new role at the Hub church, to oversee, develop and co-ordinate ministry for children (ages 0-18) and families, helping them to explore faith, grow as disciples of Jesus and participate fully in the worship and mission of the Hub Church.

Hours: 0.4 - 0.6 FTE (equivalent to 16-24 hours a week, Sunday mornings and attendance at staff meetings on Mondays are required, with flexibility for remaining hours and occasional additional commitments as required.
