Children’s activities

We will have sessions for the children and youth planned for the Sunday morning session - these will be run by our wonderful DBS-checked volunteers.

Just a gentle reminder about child safety - since Restore Hope is a farm, there will be animals, and our evening campfires will be the perfect gathering spots! Please keep children supervised near both the farm animals and the fire areas. The animals are used to visitors, but it is always wise to be cautious and respectful around them. And while the campfires will be magical for stories and songs, we will need adults to watch little ones around the flames. Thanks for helping us keep everyone safe while we make wonderful memories!

Teamwork

As we gather as community, we would love everyone to jump in and lend a hand wherever they can - whether that is chopping vegetables, washing up, or just keeping our shared spaces welcoming for everyone.

When you arrive, you will spot rotas that show different ways to get involved. We believe there is something beautiful about serving alongside each other, and we pray that even the simplest acts of helping out will be a blessing to both give and receive.

Sharing & connecting

We are excited about all the fun activities, catching up, and simple joy of being together this weekend! There's going to be so much laughter and connection happening naturally.

Alongside all of this, we would love to encourage you to carve out some time with your small group - the same lovely bunch you will be working alongside on the rota. We have prepared a few thoughtful questions for you to explore together, and we truly believe that God loves to meet us and speak to us when we gather like this.

Guest speaker

We have a wonderful guest speaker coming to speak to us on Saturday morning. We know that they are going to bring a really powerful message to us and we cannot wait!

FAQ

We are taking care of almost everything for you - all the food, activities, and of course the amazing company that comes free with this wonderful bunch of people!

But you will want to pack a few essentials to make your weekend comfortable:

  • a tent

  • camp beds / mattresses

  • camping chair / blanket

  • bedding and towels

  • toiletries

  • clothes (some may get muddy/wet)

  • torch

  • Bible and notebook

  • power bank

  • reusable cup and mug

  • water pistol!

  • Drop us a message about any food allergies or dietary needs - we have got you covered and want to make sure everyone feels looked after!

Just a quick note - we are keeping the whole weekend nut-free to make sure everyone can enjoy every meal and snack safely.

  • The camping field is delightfully electricity-free! There are a few charging spots in the dining room if absolutely necessary, but we are gently encouraging everyone to go a bit old-school for the weekend - which is device-free!

  • There is a shower and toilet block with separate facilities for men and women, plus a baby changing area. There aren't loads of them, but we reckon there'll be plenty to go around - just might need a bit of patience during the morning rush!

  • f there is an emergency, please find one of the Hub Team asap. If this is at night, please call the Hub mobile 07754153664.
